Sale of our Farrier F41 Explorer Catamaran
As the third owners of the Farrier F41, we have equipped the robust, fast offshore cruiser into a true explorer catamaran.
We have designed the ship to be single-handed so that it can be sailed safely by two people. Looking at the navigation technology, it is equipped with the latest systems and redundant equipment. The ship is prepared for a possible electrification of the engines.
As true Farrier fans, we enjoyed sailing it for seven years over 18,000 nm. We explored the Mediterranean, the Canary Islands and the Caribbean, the Bahamas and the US East Coast on an Atlantic circumnavigation. Professionally, as consultants and coaches, we have used the catamaran as a tool for personal development in Ocean Action Learning®.
We are enthusiastic about its comfort, seaworthiness and handling. We are selling the boat in search of a new boat with 2 metres headroom for Bernhard. We would be happy to show you the boat moored in Portugal in the Algarve – either virtually or in person and take it for a test sail.
The purchase includes a one-week introductory sail.

“The F-41 is designed to be a safe and roomy cruiser. She has outstanding speed and handling. Race-winning capability is central to Farrier’s success, without sacrificing interior space, seaworthiness or structural integrity. The F-41 is essentially a cruiser that will appeal especially to those with experience of Farrier designs who are now looking for a larger craft with more accommodation and facilities for living aboard and also ideal for long passage making.”
